Red Church

Red Church is the oldest church in Probolinggo City. It is located in the center of the town exactly on Suroyo street next to Toga Mas Bookstore. It takes 15 minutes from Bayuangga Bus Station.The church was built in 1862 by the Dutch Colonial Period. The materials of these building were made of steel and were directly carried from Dutch. It was said that the church was built in knock-down system to make it easy to be carried to Probolinggo, Indonesia, The red colour signs its spirit and sacrifice.  Beside that, it is not only a place for religious activity. It is also for tourist object in Probolinggo. Many people from another region come there just to see the historical church. Or even foreign visitors especially from Dutch visit the church.
